Simple rasam recipe for beginner
Usually people may think that making rasam is a very easy . But you know rasam will be delicious only if you follow the actual steps and correct measurement of ingredients. This recipe I learned from one grandma. Here I'm making beginner's rasam with correct measurement of ingredients. Please follow the simple steps to make wonderful rasam.
Tip 1 : Add salt(Only for rice) while cooking the rice. It will enhance the taste while eating with rasam.
Appalam/Papad kootu
This is one of the famous South Indian recipe. You can easily prepare this recipe with minimal ingredients. This is the perfect go with Rasam and tangy South Indian gravies.
Coimbatore special Arisi Paruppu Sadham / Kongunadu special Dal Rice
This is Coimbatore's one the famous recipe. This will gives you amazing taste without adding any masala powders. This is also called as Kongunad briyani or Coimbatore's briyani. It can be easily prepared. It goes well with papad or potato fry.
Village style Black Eyed Pea gravy / Karamani gravy
This is the traditional South Indian tangy gravy. The main ingredient for this recipe is tamarind and masala powder. If you don't have the masala powder, don't worry I have alternate option for this. If you love tangy-sweet taste, you can grind and add coconut or cashew at the end. This goes well with hot rice, rice papad and ultimate combo with mango.
Hotel style Peanut White Chutney / Verkadalai White Chutney with simple ingredients.
This chutney goes well with Dosa, Uthappam, Idly, Chapathi, Bajji, Bonda, Vada and many fried items. Even we use this as Thovayal for variety rice.
